In the summer of 2002 the Conejo Fencing Club took a field trip.
Yes, a field trip.

Ok, so we didn't fill out permission slips, but we did
bring along our resident geologist to help us
differentiate between things like
rocks and birds. So here are some of the photos.
If you want the "high quality" versions - well, you'll have to wait till we
get a better server. Kudos to Augusto and Laura for taking these photos.

Mike took us to the top of Figueroa Mountain (North of Santa Barbara).
From there we had an amazing view. We could see as far as Mount Pinos.
And of course, the Tiffany's are bird watchers... so they were sure to point
out the Magpies.
